DesertX Takes part in the Trèfle Lozérien race

The Trèfle Lozérien is a 3-day motorcycle race starting in Mende and taking in the whole of the Lozère region. It's one of France's best-known enduro classics, earning it the nickname of enduro Mecca in some media. 2024 was the 38th edition with more than 600 participants. Opened to everyone, some celebrities took part of it as well like Guillaume Canet, or the ski champion Luc Alphand as well that is now ambassador for Ducati in France

Le Trèfle is a very particular race for me because during my career as an enduro driver, it was the dilettante mid-year race where I was able to take a break from the competition. Thus meaning that I would race with my training motorcycle and without any mechanics, coach, or team, just my friends and I. In a way, it was the weekend of relaxation for the year which allowed me to regain the pleasure of riding with friends and enjoying the present moment, while it still being a real enduro race. In France, we have multiple types of enduro, there is the French championship where it is pure competition which lasts two days and is composed of three laps per day. Le Trèfle is an unusual race; it takes place over three days and is formed of three different routes with 15 specials instead of 3, during which we see landscapes and find the bases of enduro again. It was important for me to race it again, especially with the Ducati DesertX, which was an interesting challenge. I wanted to discover the abilities of the bike evolve in those conditions and it was a great success. I really enjoyed it even if the weather conditions were, by moment, harsh. It was an incredible experience and we were very surprised of the motorcycle’s behavior, as in how it reacted in extreme circumstances. The overall handling of the bike was extremely positive and motivates me even more. Next year, I think that I will be participating in the race with great envy and pleasure to reconnect with all the fans that waited for me and who were so enthusiastic about this motorcycle.
